About Us

3D Security Training Solutions provides elite security training to deliver strengthened full spectrum protective capabilities for New Mexico businesses. Our programs can be tailored to each client’s specific goals with over 100 classroom instruction hours and over 40 hours of range training for armed personnel.

CEO

Chris served over 20 years in the United States Air Force as an HH-60G Flight Examiner and Master Instructor HH-60G Flight Engineer. Chris has had a distinguished career in aviation operations as an operator, manager, and USAF Aircraft Mechanic. He has been involved in USAF aviation operations on a global scale since 1994. He is an expert in scheduling, training, operations, management and leadership. Over 2800 flight hours supporting worldwide combat search and rescue, airlift operations and flight training. Chris managed personnel, schedule, training and aviation operations, and equipment of numerous Air Force units. He oversaw the execution and program management of a 7,900hr Flying Hour Program, supporting training requirements for 275 students yearly. Chris has multiple Associates degrees in Instructor of Military Technology, Aviation Maintenance, and Aviation Operations Flight Engineer. Chris’s credentials are a Master Instructor rating from the Air Force, New Mexico Private Patrol Operator (#3144), New Mexico Regulations & Licensing Department Instructor (# 003), an New Mexico Department of Public Safety Concealed carry instructor (#534) rating, Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) Active Shooter, Developing and Managing Volunteers, Effective Communication certified along with his NRA instructor endorsements. Chris is the owner and CEO of 3D Security Training Solutions and is continuing to serve his country and fellow New Mexicans.

COO

Brian served 20 years in the United States Air Force as an MH-53M Flight Examiner and Instructor Aerial Gunner. Brian has had a distinguished career in aviation operations as an operator, manager, and USAF Aircraft Mechanic. He has been involved in USAF aviation operations on a global scale since 1997. He is an expert in scheduling, training, operations and leadership. Over 1800 flight hours supporting worldwide special operations, airlift operations and flight training. Brian managed personnel, schedule, training and aviation operations, and equipment of numerous Air Force units. He oversaw the execution and program management of a 2500hr Flying Hour Program, supporting training requirements for 100 students yearly. All while he conducted platform and combat flight instruction during all phases of initial qualification, mission qualification, re-qualification & upgrade courses. Brian was qualified in MH-53 flight and ground operations. He is very experienced with GAU-2 Mini-gun and GAU-18 .50 cal. Machine guns. Brian was responsible for training over 100 students in all phases of flight training. Brian has multiple Associates degrees in Instructor of Military Technology, Aircraft Armament System Maintenance, and Aviation Operations. Brian’s credentials include an New Mexico Department of Public Safety Concealed carry instructor (#569) rating, Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) Active Shooter, Developing and Managing Volunteers, Effective Communication certified along with his NRA instructor endorsements. Brian is an owner of 3D Security Training Solutions.

Director of Operations

Jim served over 30 years in the United States Air Force as a Pararescueman, Special Tactics Officer and Civilian Intel Analyst and Combat Rescue Officer and Pararescue Instructor. His career highlights include assignments to Major Commands, Joint Commands and the Pentagon. Jim has extensive experience in Special operations and conventional rescue techniques. His deployments to multiple countries assisting with Humanitarian aid and combat operations have culminated with a second career as a civilian teaching the next generation of Pararescuemen and Combat Rescue Officers. Jim has also been an American Red Cross Instructor Trainer for over 35 years. He is currently the Chairman for the State of New Mexico Instructor Trainer committee. His extensive Special Operations experience has enabled him to learn and teach US and foreign weapons as well as treat numerous individuals with trauma medicine. While stationed at the Pentagon on September 11, 2001, Jim assisted his fellow co-workers when a terrorist controlled plane crashed into the pentagon. Because of his background, Jim was selected to play a Pararescueman in the movie Lone Survivor, portraying the actual mission depicted in the film. Jim is an owner of 3D Security Training Solutions.

Logistics Manager

Al Aguinaldo served 22 years as a distinguished and combat proven, United States Air Force, Special Operations (AFSOC)/ Combat Search & Rescue (CSAR) Aerial Gunner Instructor/Evaluator. He managed numerous rotary-wing training levels of AFSOC air commandos and CSAR combat aircrew. His career encompassed numerous combat operations in Operation Denied Flight, Operation Southern Watch, Operation Enduring Freedom, and Operation Iraqi Freedom. During active duty, Al held qualifications, and breathe of experience in 50 cal machine guns, 7.62 mini-guns, M4 rifles, M203/M79 grenade launchers, M9 pistols, and M870 shotguns. Now his experience adds to the our team as the 3D STS Logistic Manager and Instructor with the following credentials; National Rifle Association (NRA) Chief Range Safety Officer, NRA Certified Pistol Instructor, New Mexico (NM) Department of Public Safety Concealed Carry Instructor #618, and NM Private Investigations Advisory Group Security Guard Instructor Level 1 and 3. Al also holds Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) certifications in Effective Communications and Active Shooter. Al Aguinaldo is proud to serve again for our great state of New Mexico.

Lead Instructor

Mike has served over 21 years in the United States Air Force as a Master Instructor, UH-1N Flight Examiner, C-130E Instructor Flight Engineer (FE), C-141B FE and aircraft avionics technician. He has over 4500 flight hours supporting worldwide airlift operations and flight training. He managed all aspects of a $15M UH-1N Special Missions Aviator training program that provided combat ready personnel to six Air Force Major Commands. Mike has instructed aircrew in basic and tactical employment of the UH-1N and C-130E in areas such as low-level, formation, air-drop, high-density altitude and aerial gunnery operations. During a yearlong deployment to Iraq he advised three Iraqi helicopter squadrons flying Mi-17 and UH-1HP helicopters and trained over 90 Iraqi aerial gunners to enable transition of air sovereignty back to Iraq. He is very experienced with the M-240D and PKM, 7.62 caliber machineguns and has held expert marksmanship qualification in both the M-9 pistol and M-4 rifle. Mike is certified by the NRA as a Basic Pistol Instructor and Range Safety Officer.
